When I am Afraid

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” Psalm 56:3-4

Fear, doubt, and panic

Not sure why I am letting myself flounder in negativity. I know there are a million books, programs and gazillions words of advice for such a situation but here I sit in my own little negative mud puddle.

Probably I should just push through it and it will vanish like fog when the sun hits it. Only thing is every time I start to push in one direction my mind screams at me to STOP and go in another.

There is a good chance I am just tired or something physical like lower bowel troubles. It often happens when I think I am cracking up I just need some prunes. LOL.

Can You Train Yourself To Accept Rejection? This is a 15 minute TED talk that I just listened to.

I found it for myself. As I shared a while ago, I am taking this 100 Podcasting challenge to reach out to 100 show hosts. Not sure what day I am on but so far I haven’t asked even one show host.

I have a pocket full of excuses that grows steadily as each day goes by.
I’m not ready
I don’t know what to talk about
I don’t have a good enough message to share
This is stupid (This is my latest excuse and it’s very effective for not doing it.)

Please add “your” three gratitude moments in the comments. It’s a great way to pick up your day and it’s fun for the rest of us to read!

  1. Newly planted grape vines are growing well.
  2. Still enjoying book, After Life by Alice Mary Johnson
  3. Made a week’s supply of coleslaw. Amazing how much one quarter of a cabbage makes!

Makes it seem more like a conversation when friends respond. Hey, maybe that is what the theme of my book should be, – Moments of Friendship. Or maybe another book. Will see.
I do hope I get back East sometime and get a chance to have coffee and a real face to face visit.
    What’s BP’s?
