Sunshine Thoughts:

My latest puzzle project is getting very exciting. Lots of good things happening to move it forward. Here are the three big ones.

  1. Riley Donahue the artist is starting work on the new cover. He is now working at NBC in New York for Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and Saturday Night Live. That is impressive. And he is still open to doing the designs for my book. Wow. I am so glad I found him when he was just starting out as I never would have asked him now.
  2. Maegan Huff, the assistant curator at Fort Vancouver has helped me with some  a number of in depth pdf’s about different historical artifacts at the fort as well as a lot of good ideas and suggestions for different puzzles.
  3. I have an upcoming meeting with another historian, author and leading person in charge of much of the displays and exhibits at the fort. Her name is Mary Rose and I will share more after our first meeting. I am excited.

Today’s Three Sunshine (Gratitude) Moments:
1. Puzzle book is showing great promise.
2. Reading yet another mystery book – this time by one of my favorite authors, Anne Perry.
3. Laughing because Jon says that our cat, Buddy is getting very lazy. This is because Buddy wants me “always” to pick him up and put him on the counter in the bathroom where his food dish is. I can’t help it. He is my purrfect buddy and I don’t mind helping the poor guy out.
