Sunshine Thoughts

I wonder how many millions of times I wish I had started something earlier? Hope no one is keeping count on that one. Though actually I don’t seem to have a problem starting things – its that daily, persistent keeping at it, I have more trouble with.

I am reading another book by Maeve Binchy. I sort of like her books and just a tad bit not. The thing is she has so many characters it’s very hard to keep track of them all. This time I actually got a piece of paper and started mapping all the characters. She had about 30 in the first fifty pages. Sort of makes my head spin. And the second tad bit not is that somehow I feel a bit of gloom with her books. The books are very well written and interesting – but the  characters have all these troubles. Sigh. Guess I like books with a bit more rosy edges. Not that I can stop reading it of course . . .

Today’s Three Sunshine (Gratitude) Moments:
1. Fun time driving around this afternoon
2. Left over Pizza for dinner!
3. Watching National Geographic National Parks videos at night. Got a set of 10 discs. Very interesting.

  1. I had to Google Maeve Binchy to see if I had read any of her books & found that she passed away in 2012 at a young age of 72. So sad! I still can’t remember if I read anything written by her, but will give her a try. I, too, start a number of things & don’t always finish them. We’ll hang in there!

  2. Maeve’s books are great books. Yes, there is the Irish sadness to them also. The puzzles are so colorful and beautiful.
