Basic Ingredients of Christmas

Today’s Sunshine:

Christmas-1“Gifts of time and love
are surely the basic ingredients
of a truly Merry Christmas..”

Peg Bracken

So we have officially started our preparations for Christmas by putting out a Christmas Wreath on the front porch. Something simple, small but we’ve made a start.

I decided as another boost to building some Christmas Spirit I will make all the puzzles with a Winter or Christmas touch. Who knows at this rate I might even bake some Christmas cookies!

Love to hear how everyone is getting into the Christmas season. Not sure why I feel like I need to work at it extra hard this year – maybe because it seems that there is so much negativity from every direction: Government fiascoes, wild fires, floods, winter blasts of snow and all sorts of violence in every corner. Definitely time for some Christmas cheer.

Today’s Three Sunshine (Gratitude) Moments:
1. Yes, still cleaning office – but getting there.
2. Another trip to the library. I think free libraries are the most amazing gift.
3. Buddy is soooo glad I cleaned off the couch in my office. He has taken residence.

  1. I decorated on Saturday and do a little bit more each day. A nice inexpensive way to decorate is get glass bowls an d fill with red ball ornaments or silver and gold and red ornaments, you can get the ornaments at the Dollar Tree store. I put out some of my Santa’s and also 2 mangers. I put white candles in the window.
