“Challenges make you discover things about yourself
that you never really knew.”
Basically I’m a wimp. That’s about the summation of what challenges reveal to me.
The better side of me does not rise to the surface with some challenges. Especially if they belong to figuring out something with web design, starting a new program or some new “challenge” of layout in InDesign.
The last week or so I have been trying to figure out 3dcart shopping cart software. The thoughts that went in my head (and sometimes into the air with a bit of snarly, snarked comments about the program) have not made me the nicest person on the block. Jon did not put out warning flares outside my office door but he maybe should have.
I am starting (only barely) to see a bit of hope rising in the distance. It is starting to make some sense and the possibility is getting better that I will not ask for my money back. Maybe.
But I am learning about myself. Oh yes I am. And the education is not something to put on my resume. Shhh. Don’t tell anyone.
Country Cottage puzzle below. Guess what! I actually put all 180 pieces together. I thought that about 70-80 pieces was my limit – but I rose to that challenge with no problem. Good for me! Of course it took me two days – but who’s counting. The person before me did it in 45 minutes – my score was 356 minutes and 30 seconds. Oh hum de dum.
