Small daily efforts lead to success

Today’s Sunshine:

Cat-with-quote-20“Success is the sum of small efforts,
repeated day-in and day-out.”
Robert Collier

We are on the hunt to get our wacky, internet system figured out. It doesn’t sound like a major thing but it certainly is a major thing in frustration. Our move to Century Link may be over. The modem supposedly “new” is in fact old, unreliable and if I may so in an indelicate manner, “a piece of junk.”

We thought we could replace with it a better modem ourselves but turns out that CenturyLink doesn’t want anyone to do that so they have made it non-compatible with the leading brands. At least for the the affordable part. If you want to spend money then it can be done. Not really something we want to do.

Anyway it is a good way to spend a weekend doing something new and different. Ha. Ha. Ha. Actually I’ve been down this road before as I am sure you have as well. But one keeps hoping.

Today’s Three Sunshine (Gratitude) Moments:

1. Sunshine to take our walk. Back to cloudy and cold now but was nice for a bit!
2. A bowl of ice cream at Baskin Robbins. See, what a little sunshine will do?
3. Going to try new phone service with Consumer Cellular? Anyone using this?

  1. Hi Patricia… no we do not use Consumer Cellular as relatives out east have had problems and recommended we not switch. Sorry, but here’s hoping your day will get better. Just pick one happy thought and let your day take you to the place. Everyone out there have a super great day!!!!! Hugs. Betty

  2. Hi Betty. Love your idea of picking one happy thought! Going to do that today. Will see about Consumer Cellular. Nothing like trying something and maybe it will and maybe it won’t. We are already using AT&T so hopefully it won’t be that much of a downer – but if it is we just quit and move on. 🙂 Totally appreciate your feedback about it – will be seeing how it goes!
