Accept who you are
This week I have chosen the theme, “Acceptance.” It seems like a good starting point for a lot of things.
One of the things I am accepting about myself is that I think some of my up and down emotions lately is more to do with hormonal changes in aging than anything else.
So worrying about that is a waste of time – and that – actually is calming.
Take a prayer break
I decided a couple of days ago that I was tying myself into knots and the more I tried to chill out the more complicated everything became. So I decided to just stop everything and pray seven rosaries.
Took me two days and I haven’t the foggiest notion if it changed the situation but it did calm me down.
Maybe that is enough.

- After dinner car ride to see if we could find where we saw smoke from a fire earlier. Didn’t find it but enjoyed the ride. 🙂
