Looking Ahead

There are so many quotes by C. S. Lewis that I like. While I think this one is a quote more for Eternity – and life ever after with God (and that is good) it also works for me in just moving forward with life here and now.

Tomorrow will be a good day and the one after that and the next one. I am realizing (again) that I really need to fill my mind with positive – God and good inspirational quotes and thoughts. Makes such a difference in how the day goes.

I remember writing a poem when I was in High School that was

“Heaven is a stair – that you climb and climb to –
Hell is a slide that you slip on down to.”

Grammar is probably not exactly right – but poetry doesn’t always obey all the rules.

Book is Going slow

Still going back and forth on a working title – but getting there.

Summer Life

On the at home side of things – all is going well. The tomatoes are going crazy! We only planted two plants but for two people we have tons. Last year we planted four or six plants – we are starting to plant realistically this time!

The cutest picture I took last week was with big old Andre (104 + pounds of big dog) and Buddy less than 10 pounds) sprawled out in the middle of the hot, dry backyard together. I was planning on sharing the picture but when I downloaded it to my computer just now it went to Never, Never Land. 🙁
