Today’s Sunshine:

1-catee“Gentleness and kindness
will make our homes a paradise upon earth.
C. A. Bartol

I had to practice gentleness and kindness today with Buddy. He sabotaged my vacuum cleaner. Sneakily. Underhandedly. And very effectively.
You see he found a bobbin full of black thread that I must of dropped in the closet putting some of my sewing things away. He thought this bobbin made a nice hockey puck.
I was sitting at my desk a while back and I heard this funny noise. I looked around and there being slapped across the floor was the bobbin. I saw some of the thread was starting to come out so I decided I had to end play time. I picked up the bobbin and put it in a basket that was sitting on the floor.
Buddy lost interest and I went back to work. All was well until it came time for vacuuming. Somehow, the black thread had a dangled thread I didn’t see. I come tootling along with the vacuum cleaner until all of a sudden there was a huge noise. Like the whole thing was falling apart. Like it had been hit with a meteorite or something.
Turned off the machine. Unplugged it and took a look.
There it was, yards and yards of black thread all wrapped around tight and snug on the rotating brush. Enough to stop the machine cold.
Thanks Buddy.

Buddy Time

buddy-1-24-19-aaA couple of days ago, Kathyrn left me a comment to include some pictures of Bud, Andre and Pudge. I have decided that it would be fun to include a pic of them now and again though mostly they will be of Buddy – just because he is funny.

I love Andre and Pudge but they seem to always look much the same whatever they do. In this picture Jon had just turned from patting Buddy and Andre wanted some pats too. Why not?

Sunshine Puzzles

More puzzles Cat and Snowmen puzzles.

Today’s Guest puzzle is a bit challenging. Not only are there 150 pieces but some of the pieces are rotated. In order to rotate them you have to click and select the piece and then right click it till it turns the correct way. I thought these kind of puzzles were way too challenging for me – but I loved this picture so much I thought I would just try it. And lo and behold I actually finished it. Took a couple of days . . .

  1. Thanks for sharing picture of family. No matter how frustratingly mad they make us, one look from their precious eyes and we are lost again in their love and trust. Kind of like God’s love for us? Have a super fun day and blessings to all!
