Moving Forward
I have taken a major step and had a professional book cover designer design my book, “If I’m Not Me” – Not sure of the publication date yet but it will be at least six months out. Tentatively I’m thinking October 19th but will see.
This afternoon I will be talking with a possible freelance editor to help me whip the contents into shape. I thought it was 39,000 words but turns out is more like 79,000 words with another chapter yet to be added. A typical memoir is between 70,000 – 100,000 words so I’m in the ballpark.
So that is one project started (three years ago) and now may finally get a “got er done” sticker on it.
Puzzle Book Progress
Yesterday I got my first puzzle book, Exploring Vancouver” uploaded into IngramSparks. It will take a couple of days till the review states whether it meets all the qualifications for publishing. I know for a fact already I will have to resubmit it . . . because . . . I forgot to put the ISBN and bar code on it.
But still that is a big hurdle overcome. And now I am working on getting the next puzzle book uploaded which should be easier.
