Today’s Sunshine:
Only friends you haven’t yet met.”
William Butler Yeats
Here’s the thing I have noticed this year about some of the email that comes in my box. Everyone (well at least a lot) of it is from people telling me they have the secret to getting more out of life, work, love, whatever. They’ve nailed it and for a few monthly payments they are willing to let me in on the brand, new, totally never told before secret.
But what they are dealing with is someone who is now 62 years old – and doesn’t quite fall as fast for that stuff as once upon a time I did.
Here’s my idea of how to get the most out of life. Live it and do the best you can every day. Because every single day, without exception, something happens to disrupt your best made plans.
So just live it, love it and go with it.
Apathetic? Maybe. But it’s as good a plan as any. 🙂
Today’s Three Sunshine (Gratitude) Moments:
1. Looking at cute pictures on Pinterest. Cheers me up.
2. Jon got our arbor back up for the second time. Big wind, another crash and fall but we’re hoping this one will survive the next windy blast.
3. Working on redoing puzzle books to a larger format. Lot of tiddly-do work but I think it will be good to have the puzzles a bit bigger.

Grateful for
Sunshine
Great lunch with a good friend.
Thankful for my health.
I think doing some puzzle books in larger print is a great idea. I am always looking for them for my aunt who is 90 and as sharp as a tack and wants to do puzzles to keep her mind sharp.
I live on Jersey and it is so cold today that I just might do the puzzle in the newspaper and stay cozy warm.
