A Dose of Courage
Last week I mentioned that I was hoping to work with a book mentor, John Eggen. After the exploratory interview (by his assistant) I was accepted into phase two which is an actual one hour or more talk with John.
So – I am so excited that things look a lot more positive. I am one of those folks that really respond with coaching. Some of you may have thought I did things on my own but was never true. I always, always had outside support that helped me to focus my thinking and laser beam my actions. The sisters allowed me to work with coaches like John Kremer, Robert Middleton, Joan Stewart, Wayne Kelly and others.
And of course I relied on massive prayer and help from the sisters and all my supporters and friends when I was in the monastery. I believe in doing BIG things but not with myself doing all the pushing and pulling it takes to accomplish them. And a good number of you still on this list were definitely a part of some of my projects so I am sure you were aware of that.
My husband Jon now is my biggest home support and that is very, very huge. We will both be on the talk with John Eggen on Tuesday and I am hoping for a positive experience and green light to push forward with my book project after that.
In the meantime I am expecting to get my Book Map Plan back from Madeleine Eno very soon. Can’t wait for that!
So from being down in the dumps my little roller coaster self is back on track and climbing to the top of the mountain.
The biggest thing that has turned my thinking around is doing a lot more “Prayer and Praise” sessions with God again. While I have never stopped praying there are definitely times when I have slacked a lot.
And I definitely give credit to all the videos and pdf’s I have been reading by John Eggen to help me make the decision to go with him. The name of his company is “Mission Marketing Mentors” and it is his very spiritual focus that has encouraged me to take my next step with him.
So let’s see what happens!
Book Countdown . . . 2 – 20 – 2020!
225 days to go
Please add “your” three gratitude moments in the comments. It’s a great way to pick up your day and it’s fun for the rest of us to read!
- Jon’s support of working with John Eggen
- Looking forward to family reunion only a few weeks away!
- Possible house/dog/cat sitter for our home while we are away. This will be so much better than putting them in a kennel.
