Set the world on fire

Set the world on fire

Motivational quote:

Where’s my match?

Okay, I don’t quite feel the world is being set on fire by me – so does that mean I’m not being who I’m meant to be? Or maybe it’s just a tiny, fire. The kind that warms a room or two but not the whole, wide world.

I can settle for that.

Whenever I read a book lately that I really love, I think gosh I admire those writers who do that . . . but gosh, I sure don’t have the energy, discipline and stick-to- it-ness to be that good. For me it would take a dozen more years of improvement and I am so “oh hum” with it all.

I will get my book done though. Yes, I will. Somehow. Going to take a lot of prayer. Can’t say it will be good but get it done that I can do.

Please add “your” three gratitude moments in the comments. It’s a great way to pick up your day and it’s fun for the rest of us to read!

  1. Quiet day – pulled some weeds, prayed some rosaries, nice day.
  2. Leftover Spaghetti that Jon made (will probably be even better tonight) just so dang good!
  3. Good weather here – so sorry for those suffering with fires and floods.

  1. Instead of making it into a chore, you need to make it into an adventure, and if it’s not going to be a lot of fun for you, then just don’t do it. Just because you said you were going to do it doesn’t mean you have to. I don’t think it sounds like any more fun to you so you need to rethink how you’re going about it, maybe it’s just not meant to be and you post little stories here and there like you always have of parts of your life, those have. always been fun to read and always very exciting And make us a smile. Think about that! I think the one that we all want to hear Is how you met Jon, fell in love and got married. That took us all by surprise and would be a great story. ? Work on the ending first, and then you don’t have to do the beginning if you don’t want to. ? Keep getting older by the day and will be 75 soon so get with it, at least the good part where you meet Jon. ???

  2. You will get it done , it will all work out and in the right time. It will be the right time and it will be wonderful. Always remember The Little Train That Could…
