Sunshine Thoughts

Lazy day. Spent most of it at a car show.

At this car show there is a lady there who makes bags. Last year I bought one for my sister. They are so amazingly nice. I saw one today that I just HAD to have – but I didn’t because it was too expensive. It was amazing though the surge of desire I had for something like that. Was surprising you know? How something one doesn’t need and probably wouldn’t even use but you still want it? Really bad.

purse-bNow that I am at home and away from it I am okay with not having it. Just fine. But it was interesting to note how I got triggered to buy something because it just fits all the right emotions. This is what the bag looks like. Isn’t it cute? I love the material she used that’s what it really is about. Those cute cats!

Today’s Three Sunshine (Gratitude) Moments:
1. Cooler weather.
2. Glad to be alive. No reason but it does help when the sun shines!
3. Glad for family, friends and you! 🙂 Thanks for being part of this daily sharing.

  1. The purse is so pretty. You might be able to make one Pat, you are very creative. Remember when you made the Indian tent ? I get caught up in the impulse buying , the instant gratification. The older we get the more we realize we do not need all the things we have accumulated over our life time.
Grateful for a wonderful family weekend
Grateful for sunny sky and beautiful white clouds
    Grateful for a quiet morning

    1. Hi Cathy – Oh I know it! Instant gratification is why we “can’t eat just one!” ha. ha. And yes, I could sew one but really I don’t even need it! 🙂
The teepee was fun – but haven’t been sewing much at all lately. One thing at a time . . . slowly learning that too.
