Today’s Sunshine:
C. S. Lewis
“You never know what you can do until you try, and very few try unless they have to.” –C.S. Lewis
I get a bit annoyed with folks who put down average folks as not putting forth enough. Not working hard enough, exercising enough, eating the wrong stuff. I find them very tiresome. Mostly though I love anything C. S. Lewis writes but somehow the second part of the quote just hit me wrong.
Really what’s the problem with sticking with stuff that works until it doesn’t and then trying something new? That seems rather sensible to me. AND then the quote jumps right into play and we are off trying something new.
Like with me and my business website. It’s been like pushing an elephant uphill. Then I read an article about trying 3dCart by Sandy Dell. And it convinced me to give it a try. Sandy has coached me a bit on my business for reaching out to gift stores. I have another coaching call with her tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
Today’s Three Sunshine (Gratitude) Moments:
1. Mexican rice for dinner. I love making it and I love gobbling it up.
2. Looking at a new Shopping Cart for my business website. I think I am going to love it.
3. Ok, I am reading another book. In between working (or maybe it’s reading in between working?) Closed for Winter by Jorn Lier Horst. It is way too good. Norwegian author.
