Sunbeams and shadows
This is a good quote for today because we have had sunshine most of the day, that is after the fog burned off. Cold but warm I think compared to a lot of the country as we were up to 51 today.
Reading a new book called, A Single Thread by Tracy Chevalier. So far it is nice, seems to be a quiet book about a person sewing tapestry cushions for a Cathedral in 1932. I have never read anything by this author before, has anyone? It seems to be a sort of spiritual love story kind of book, I will see how it goes, I\’m on page 82 now and just sort of walking its way through the pages in no hurry.
Trying a new email host to send out this email. This one is called MailerLite. Had good reviews and looks to be quite nice.

Great job Patty. This server seems much better. My three (3) gratitudes for the day are:
1. I am blessed to wake to another day with hubby of 44 years.
2. My children and their families have confirmed it will be a happy Thanksgiving – with me cooking… (that’s ok I love to cook and they love to eat!).
3. I am blessed with pets (they don’t talk back nor mess up their room nor cause sleepless evenings like kids do). Living on an acreage where I wake to deer in field, blue jays squealing for food and my dogs and cats give pure love. Yes God – I have many things to be thankful for.
Happy cooking and eating. I like to cook too but only in bits and starts. 🙂 How wonderful to have a marriage of 44 years and still be in love. That is a witness of Joy!

Hi Pat, I’ve received two of the same daily post from you today and yesterday the 22nd as well. Both from you with your name and the subject on one reads “posts from 11/23/19 and the other subject reads “today’s sunshine moment” They are both exactly the same when I open them. Don’t get me wrong, I love getting your posts but somehow I don’t need two of the same one (haha)
