Did someone say hard work?

So I like this quote but I rather shy away from the hard work part. This could be a definite clue to my lack of success lately. Oh hum de dum – being retired is not a bad thing and I DO need to learn how to do it better. 🙂

On the other hand . . .

There is a time for work and a time for play.

For the most part I am hard at play – as writing, learning, blogging, Pinterest and other internet activity is total fun for me and I plan to continue on with my sandbox activities but take the pressure off of doing them as being a \”have to,\” in order to survive mentality.

About the book . . .

Yesterday, Joan (friend on this blog) gave me some good advice. \”The book seems to be something you enjoy but work on it with a time limit. It will get done.\” I think she meant to say \”without\” a time limit – which is what I\’ve been advised before – and once again I think it is good advice – AND – I plan to take it. Thank you Joan.

Therefore in the interests of my sanity I am going to work on the book – but take down the \”countdown\” bit and just work on it in a much more relaxed and \”fun\” matter.
