You don\’t know!

I don\’t believe any of us will know the good we have done for others in this lifetime.

I think of the times I have been uplifted and encouraged just by walking by and seeing someone in a good space. On one of our morning walks a few ladies were sitting on chairs in the middle of their lawn having a chat – it was in the beginning months of the Covid 19 and they were keeping social distancing but still enjoying each others. They waved at us as we walked by and that was just nice and it made me feel good that in a small way they drew us into their friendship time.

Other times I have seen someone open a door for another person or take someone\’s shopping cart back to the store or picked up something someone dropped. In every day there are so many people doing little acts of kindness for others, and though they are intent on just helping that one person in front of them they probably don\’t realize how affirming their actions are to others as well.

A quote I found a long time ago by a saint I think was something like this. \”You can ignite others just be being on fire yourself.\” Our moods are contagious. Is is important for us to be happy to help others get the happy bug too!

And the book goes on . . .

Well, yesterday I didn\’t work on the book. Just letting you know that I NEED to be more faithful with this knowing my past history and maybe by telling you I will do better today.
