Today was a day that my sister Barb would say was total \”Work Avoidance!\” Ah sad. The work I was supposed to do was to write articles. Instead I cleaned the house and washed clothes and did all sorts of other busy little projects that didn\’t amount to a lot. As for articles – I wrote one. Just one. Oh sad. Some days (a lot of days) it feels like it would be easier to just shoot myself than to write an article. Such melodrama.

Oh well, the house is a bit cleaner. New sheets on the bed (even washed the blankets which will tell you how bad my work avoidance was!) and spent some time on Facebook. I don\’t know, this Facebook stuff could really gobble me up big time!

Some days I really wonder about myself.

This was my night to go to Bible study but I decided the roads are just to bad to drive 12 miles in the dark on lonely country roads. I stayed home. I will just have to have a bit of all by myself and a few saints and angels Bible study.

  1. Dear Patricia,

You certainly give yourself a hard time. You did get work done. Cleaning house is not an idle chore. I am sure it is not always easy to write an article and you might as well fill your time with productive things while waiting for the inspiration to write. Everything in God’s time. You always seem to meet the deadlines and the inspiration to write comes when needed most. You are special and you must think “:Highly of Yourself”
as we who follow you feel. I do believe we have guidance, if we listen, to when we should travel and when we should not. The good part is Bible Study is not limited to a class but an everyday experience.

    Have a Blessed Day.

  2. My my a day of ho hum get my house work done. At least you got that done. now you can say I am clean for awhile before next cleaning time comes. God will provide for you some inspiration for articles when timing is right. This week is drs. apt. check on camera to see if ready for my trip I must take pics of my new great great nephew. So next week will be a whirlwind week to prepare for trip. Busy busy laundry packing notes to check off what is done. so pray for a safe trip for me. It will be nice to come back to oodles of notes and puzzles to catch up on. Have a Merry Christmas Blessed Advent. Kathy OFS Siochan Agus Maitheas

  3. Hi, house cleaning is major work , so is laundry, cutting the grass, shoveling snow and cooking dinner and the grocery store shopping :).

Wise to stay home and not travel when the roads are slick and especially long distances.

    Have a great Thursday- tomorrow.

    1. I wish I could say that I got my laundry and house cleaned. Give yourself credit for what you have done. The other “stuff” will get done. I don’t know how you accomplish so much.

You are wise not to go to Bible study 12 miles away on and dark and cold night.

Thank you for being you. I love your letters. They are so sincere and uplifting. At least you lift me up.

      Love and Prayers,
      Virginia
