I\’m still thinking Retreat Thoughts

Because winter time is the perfect time to think of summer. What first begins as just talk can shape right up into reality if we keep the conversation going.

So just for interests sake . . . lets say we got four people interested we could find a rental home like this  for $125-$200 a night (September the rates are lower but we could decide what dates work best for people). If we spent four days each person\’s cost would be $32 – $50 a night. Plus food of course. We would have to plan our meals and maybe eat out once or twice for fun.

If we got 19 people (why not dream) we could rent this place Oceanfront W/ Super Views . It would cost each person $25.00 a day for lodging if we had that many people.

Well do keep thinking about it. We could start saving up our quarters now and break open the piggy bank in late summer or early fall.

    The puzzle is precious and the houses for the retreat are beautiful and what a gorgeous view. OMG, beautiful. What a wonderful idea and such a beautiful setting, sort of a slice of heaven if you ask me. Have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend Patricia.

  2. Really like the idea of a shared Ocean Retreat. If it would happen in September, I would be interested. Fall, but before any chance of snow, is the best time for travel. This was a GREAT idea!

    Your idea of a Retreat is wonderful. If I traveled, I would be one that would be right there. Since my husband passed away in 2003, I have not traveled any distances other than to the beach At Ocean City, Md. and that is with my daughter. I was so fortunate to go to Europe many times , on cruises, etc. I have wonderful memories. I use to travel by myself but do not do that anymore. I do hope you get enough to sign up so the Retreat will come to fruition. I would truly love to meet you in person. However, I do feel I know you through following you all these years.

  4. What a beautiful house! September would be much better for me. It might even be cheaper than summer prices – but I am not sure.

    The only problem would be getting me to Oregon – since I live in Pennsylvania. If we keep talking about it, I can keep it in mind and explore good air prices.

    A girl can dream…. Since we are buried in snow right now and frigid temperatures, thanks for the thoughts of warmer times!

    I would not be able to go across the country. I still want to know if you get a group to go.
