I found out that January 19 is Winnie the Pooh Day. Don\’t know why. But I decided to go with a Pooh theme today. Considered waiting until later in the month but then I decided who knows maybe on January 19th I won\’t feel like Winnie the Pooh – at least this way the cards and puzzles are up to play until the day actually comes. Though perhaps if you are a Winnie the Pooh friend – any day and every day is a good Winnie the Pooh day.

I am continuing to read  the book by Paul Wilkes about himself. In Due Season. It is sort of scary – like God picked this book just for me. He is like very, very fervent for awhile and then very, very not, and then on again and off again. And I think that is the way life is. Ultimately the only way I\’m going to get into heaven is God bopping me on the head finally and saying, \”Enough, already, come on in.\”

I took down my Christmas tree today. I was going to keep it up longer but I decided I was done with Christmas even if the 12 days of Christmas are still going on. Buddy has been having fun with it. I had the lights on a timer so they would come on and go off at certain times. He stepped on the timer and added a few more hours for the tree to be on. So far he has only broken one small, gold ornament so that\’s not too bad. All in all, he\’s been quite sane with the whole thing.

  1. Darling puzzle. A Winnie the Poo Day is a great day. the book you are reading is very interesting, I checked it out on line. 3 of the little grands are staying the night tonight, has been a fun evening, they are 3, 6 and 8. all girls. Have a great Sunday Patricia.

  2. I just now got a chance to do a puzzle. This is a fine idea to have a day at pooh corner with pooh eyeore christopher robin and piglet too. Many a time I spent time seeing them while taking care of preschooler’s they loved the videos and beg to see over & over. Such joy for me to watch their delightful laughter. Well have a great day.
