Play this Puzzle: Epiphany Puzzle

Happy Feast of Epiphany!

I know I\’m late – but somehow the last couple of days I just didn\’t have energy to send out a message. I think I\’ve just been making it more and more complicated. So for now I\’m cutting back to just the puzzle and a message.

Some days I will add a new Word search but not every day. The hangman I will keep doing every day as it is easy to change a simple word or two.

I\’m seriously thinking the Rosary book is not going to happen. Not sure if its just the after holiday slump but it\’s not going anywhere so I\’m pushing it to a side pocket for now.

Seems like it is definitely the January I should be \’hibernating in a cave till Spring,\’ time of year.Yawn.

Went to the library and got a book I thought was going to be a fun read and it turns outs its one of those mushy, I\’ve just met you let\’s go to bed type of books. Yuck. Always hate that when I find a book I think is going to be a good read and instead its just muck. Yuck.

Luckily I got three books and the other two show more promise. I finished the book by Paul Wilkes. That was very good. A bit long but good.

Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Patricia

  1. Hi Patricia, Do what you feel up to doing, you have a very busy schedule and you cannot please everyone. I appreciate your posts and your puzzle and the mahjong game, etc. Thank you.
Have a good week. Supposed to be bitter cold here tomorrow. Brrrr. 13 degrees and with the wind chill will feel like 5 to 15 below…too cold for me.

    1. Was not too cold today – though I am wearing a couple of layers.

Always appreciate your support. I should go look at that list of Chilren’s books you gave me and see if I can download any of them..

  2. Beautiful Epiphany Puzzle. Does it have a Name. I’m curious about the fact that one of the Kings looks like a woman. Any thoughts?

    1. I never noticed that! Wow. It does look like a woman. I wonder if that is supposed to be a statement of some kind? I got the image from a photo site and I don’t remember any information with it. Sort of weird now that I see it now.

I read the other day that there actually might have been as many as 80 magi in the experience – not just our traditional three.

  3. Patricia,
I think most of us fall into a slump after the Holidays are over.
It is 5 degrees and with the wind chill factor it is minus 12 here in Delaware. We are not use to these temperatures. The last time it was this cold was 20 years ago. On days like this, I have to pull on my positive thoughts to get me thru the day, I am reading an excellent book by Bill O’Reilly called “Killing Jesus.” It is not a religious book but a historical one and I find it fascinating and am learning so much about Jesus’s life that I had never read before. It is #one on the Best Selling non fiction books.
    Have a blessed day.
    Mary B.

  4. Winter is a hard time…but can’t let it get us down. I think we have winter to slow us down and that gives us more time to reflect on what’s ahead. What does God want us to do? We can take the time to plan over a cup of hot chocolate or we can snuggle under a quilt and thank God for warmth. God has a plan for us and sometimes we just have to wait until God decides that now is a good time to put His plan into action in our lives. Perhaps the rosary book’s time is now now…just be patient put it aside and when the time is right it will happen. You love to read try reading Mitch Ablom, his books have a great message and make good material for a book club. Perhaps you can start one where you work or with neighbors. The Shack is also a good book for thought. Just relax don’t get crazy and let God be in charge. He makes a good caregiver.

    1. Thanks Joan – good advice all. I bought the latest Mitch Ablom book for my sister so can’t wait till she reads it and lends it to me. 🙂 Was that sneaky or what? She does have all his other books though – so it wasn’t too selfish.

I have read The Shack as well and loved it. Can’t remember the author, he or she? Will have to see if he/she did any more books!

God is a good caregiver – though sometimes I don’t want caring as much as my impatient self wants ACTION !!

  5. Hi, Patricia –
I so agree with you about those stories of “muck”!!!

I just happened to listen to the following sermon by Joel
Osteen this morning. I hope you will listen to it, too, and
know that your rosary book will happen in God’s timing.
And remember that things can turn around in a day!

Hope you enjoy it and feel better!

Always looking forward to your notes,
    Roberta

    1. Thanks Roberta, Just saw your message now. I will listen to it tomorrow.
Sounds great. I have a book by Joel – he is very uplifting! Thanks for thinking of me.

And yes! Things can turn around in a day.
