Sunshine Thoughts
I had to include this quote in my week of celebrating G. K. Chesterton. It is just too good and too true and just too \”I agree one hundred percent\” to be ignored.
My grandmother was a school teacher and she would give us gifts at Christmas time that were sometimes, not always but sometimes \”emphatically only\” what was good for us. And what is the joy in that?
Today\’s Three Sunshine (Gratitude) Moments:
1. Blue sky with no smoke!
2. Ride with Jon in our old truck to machine shop. It\’s a 1970s Ford that isn\’t pretty but finally runs great and hauls heavy things like engines that Jon works on just great.
3. Reading a biography of Dr. John McLaughlin to get Word Search puzzle ideas. Is very good. Outpost by Dorothy Nafus Morrison

Grateful for delicious left over Indian food , having it for lunch. Left overs are yummy.

Yes! Let’s hear it for old trucks that are still going strong. 🙂 Ours has a few dents but I was surprised how good it looked after it got a wash. Seems like the old work horses type of trucks don’t get the soapy suds workout we do with newer ones . . . but goodness it did make a difference.
