Valentine Girls Memory Game.

Pretty busy day. I just realized that although I have talked to several people on the phone I haven\’t talked to a single person today in person. That\’s kind of weird. I suppose it happens more often than I think – but just came to mind for some reason.

Tomorrow I\’m going out to lunch with a friend and that will be nice. I was rather thinking I should stay home and get more work done – but it is important to have people time. This morning on my way to work I was thinking that today I would just live in today. Enjoy every moment and not push myself into the future when this or that happens. Felt great for as long as I remembered to do it. About 30 minutes.

I\’m being good and sharing some other puzzles than just the memory game.

Here is today\’s Hangman

And today\’s Word Search Puzzle – Candy

I thought I should pick \”Candy\” words before I start the Daniel Plan (if I do start it) and definitely before Lent. Though I haven\’t given up candy for Lent for several years. Funny though, the years I don\’t give up candy for Lent I always feel like I\’m cheating. Guess that childhood training still kicks in.

Jigsaw Puzzle – Butterflies  – this is on the new site. I am still in the process of making the change over. Takes time. The page is very basic right now but I think it loads faster outside of the fancy pages. 🙂

And the final bit of news . .  .  the Ducks are back! This is one of my favorite joys of being in Oregon. Watching the ducks.

  1. Patricia,
Have a wonderful time at lunch with your friend. Yes, it is so important that we have people contact and relaxation with them.
    Enjoy

  2. The ducks are precious. Enjoy your time out for lunch with your friend, I am meeting a friend for lunch today also. Looking forward to it. You are very busy with putting together all the puzzle sites and memory games, hangman, etc. thank you so much – plus working 2 jobs. Do not know how you have time for all of this. It is good to live in the moment.

    1. Had a great lunch – hope you did too.

I think it sounds like I am much more busy than I am. I get into these spurts of working on the website and that gets a bit intense but for me it’s like playing a game – so I don’t classify it as work. Not like washing dishes and cleaning house and writing articles. That is work for me.

And no matter what I get lots of reading time into my day. 🙂

  3. I hope you have a wonderful lunch enjoying the company of a friend. One must always take time for play so you can have a happy day. The match game looks cute. Sometimes there would be a nice day and we took a small group of my pre-school kids down to the duck pond and feed the ducks the kids loved doing that it was a nice treat for them. Baby ducks are the cutest. Well have a joyful rest of week. Kathy OFS Siochan Agus Maitheas

    1. Hi Kathy,

Did have a wonderful lunch. Was fun.

I can’t wait for the baby ducks. Unfortunately not many of them survive – cats and this rodent that lives in the waters (forgot its name) grabs them before they get too old. Saddest thing.

  4. I have been following you for quite a long time, but do not comment often. When you said you did not speak to anyone, in person, today, I was taken aback. It seems like you are always speaking to me personally and as a “sort of ” shut-in” I appreciate it, but have never expressed it to you……now I am….Thank you!

    1. Hi Judie,
Thank you for sharing! Yes – it does seem like I am talking with people and I’m in the midst of friends – but then I thought – hey, wait a minute. I haven’t actually talked to someone in person. I don’t know why it struck me – I guess because I thought of my mom who lived by herself for a couple of years and sometimes a week would go by or more and she never talked to anyone except on the phone.

Thank goodness for the phone and now for the internet. I think it makes connections that are just as valid and life-enriching as face to face ones.

What’s most important I think is the heart connection and that happens in many different ways.
