Worry Free Zone Day

Time out from worry

I\’m taking a day off from worrying about stuff and just having a pray rosary day. Just to get off the \”oh my gosh, now what\” tread mill. The last two nights I wake up and can\’t get back to sleep and the worries drip down like a wet drizzle and that needs to stop. Going to worry myself into something . . .

And probably drinking too much coffee as much as I love it – is not helping either. So it\’s just a \”forget it day\” for me. 🙂

One nice thing with all this Covid 19 scare is all the people who are willing to help. One person on Nextdoor started a thread for neighbors to help neighbors if they need it during this time and already has over one hundred responses. Very uplifting.

Of course there were a few complaints about people taking all the toilet paper in the stores . . .

March 14

Started that yesterday and that\’s as far as I got. I feel like my gas tank is on empty – very low energy. Would chalk it up to Spring fever but today we got SNOW. The first of the year for us and it\’s actually staying on the ground. Crazy white stuff. Anyway so it can\’t be Spring Fever must be the March Doldrums.

Weekly Shopping

We always do our weekly shopping at Winco on Saturday mornings. This morning it was quite different!

This was about 8 in the morning and the cashier said people had been buying stuff since 5 a.m.

I got a present today!

Four beautiful books by Michael Leach. Michael sent them to me as a gift – and I am very excited to read them. I am going to start with the book on Kindness because that is what I need to fill my thoughts with. I am planning to start making pins out of these books as well . . . and in fact I am thinking of starting a blog on my business site and will call it . . . Why Stay Catholic . . . which will be a daily or so thought on staying Catholic. Not totally solid on it – and perhaps I will just do it on this site with a bit on the theme. 1. We have snow. Am I grateful? Hmmm, not so much, though it is pretty. The first snow we\’ve had all winter though so not complaining.
2. The Library is closed for Covid 19! This is terrible news. Jon and I went this morning and I got at least six books!
3. Reading a fun little love story book. Can\’t say it\’s super wonderful but a nice light-hearted read which I like. Catching Christmas by Terri Blackstock
