Wild Ones Mahjong

Another Mahjong game

The latest Mahjong addition is called Wild Ones. It includes \”cute\” cartoon birds and animals around the world. You now have three tile options, Ocean, Wild Ones and Flowers.

It would be very cool if I could put my games up as an app so they would play better on mobile devices but I think it costs to do that and of course another learning curve. I don\’t mind the learning curve so much but I am trying, trying, trying to not buy anything new this year as far as the computer and new projects go, so it is something I will have to leave for the future.

Gardening

Today\’s must do project is to plant our few starting plants into the raised beds. It will not take very long but I am in a \”don\’t wanna\” mood for gardening. Which is pretty bad as this is just the beginning of the planting season so it doesn\’t bode well for the future.

The potatoes are breaking through the surface and that is exciting. Every day, several times a day in fact, I go out to scrutinize for any new growth. So far six out of the eight plants have made it to the surface. Go potatoes go!

Weeding is something that can occupy all the hours I want to give to it. I\’m more into minutes but . . . I may have to toughen up my resolve and be more like Jon who sticks with things until they are done. I mean how boring is that?

Buddy Report

Buddy is so confused, annoyed, disgusted and perplexed that we are not letting him outside anymore. It is for the good of the birds, bunnies and other small living things but not nice for Buddy. We are having to use a water bottle at the door to go in and out. Fortunately we mostly go through the garage to go outside so we have a first line of defense if he does sneak zoom past us.

1. Almost done with Michelle Obama\’s memoir. It is interesting but I want to finish it quickly so I can get back to fiction!
2. Happy the potatoes are growing.
3. Cold today. Shivery walk for the first half but nice facing into the sun on the return. Met a few people along the way with everyone giving plenty of \”social distance\” but we do smile and wave to each other.
