It\’s okay to be wrong

Not being afraid of \”being wrong\” is truly one of the most freeing experiences there is. It came (at least for me) when I realized that I was the one who was the primary person holding me back from doing things. Once I realized that being okay with me, right or wrong allowed me to be free to make mistakes.

Letting other opinions holding more value over my opinions is life draining. I am still very open to other opinions and value input from almost everyone – but the difference for me now, is that someone else\’s opinion is not greater than my own.

I have been accused of being a \”people pleaser\” and one therapist actually said I would probably never get over it but I am aware of that tendency in me now – and I don\’t let it have the driving wheel. At least not \”all\” the time.

Today\’s Three Sunshine (Gratitude) Moments:
1. Learning about medicare benefits and supplemental\’s. I\’m not eligible yet but learning good things about it.
2. Trying a new restaurant tonight down on the Waterfront. Sounds like a good place.
3. Always laughing at the funny little cat Buddy is. If Jon calls him no matter where he is outside (usually) he will come running in as fast as he can go. Cute.

    1. Hi Cathy, – So true that being grateful for just another day – is a big thing. One I don’t take enough time to be grateful for. Loving the fall colors here as well. And I just made a Imitation Crab salad for tomorrow. Maybe the Imitation crab isn’t super healthy – but it’s certainly better than some things I grab for. This one is a new recipe will see how it goes . . . suppose to wait 24 hours before eating… hmmmm? Guess I can hold out.
