Life continues to unfold day by day as it always does! Since I last wrote I found another small job to keep the home fires lit and burning. (Not that I need a fire in the summer . . . )

This one is very simple but I think I will like it. I open and close a small laundromat in a very nice neighborhood. In fact it is the laundromat I used to use all the time when I first moved to Oregon. I also do about an hour of cleaning which is good as I need some activity or I will become a lump sitting at this computer all day! I don\’t start for another week but will take a picture of it to share. Nothing exciting about a laundromat I know but will share anyway.

What is great about this job is that it gives me plenty of time during the day to continue to work on my Social Media business. I even have a new name for it! Joy in Jesus Media.  I like it – sort of a match to this site. If I do any more books (which I plan to do) I will also use that name as my publishing company.

Here are four new memory games. Two of them I had started and just needed finishing and two of them I did tonight. Got on a roll after being quiet for a bit!

Umbrellas

\"m17_500px\"

School Dragons

\"m23_350px\"

 Dinosaurs

\"menu350px\"

Cup Cakes

\"menu-18_350px\"

Will you please share them with your friends? I am trying to build up traffic to this site so that I feel justified in continuing to work on it. So far I have about 250 subscribers which is really nice but it would be nice if a few more people knew about it and liked it. I know it needs a lot more work!

  1. Sounds perfect! Opportunities always open up for you, I’m happy to say! God bless you and always remember the special person you are to Him and to us…

  2. Hi Patricia, Thinking of you last night and wondering how you were doing, glad all is well. So good you have another part time job and able to do other projects as well, plus you will meet many people. Wonder if the owner will allow you to put up a small sign with rip off tabs of the site page at the laundromat. Might help get others to sign up. I will continue to share this site.
I like Joy in Jesus Media, sounds good.
Have a great week Patricia, the puzzles are very nice.
Hope Pudge and Buddy are well. 🙂

    1. Hi Cathy,

good idea about the sign with tabs but the owner seems to go for the uncluttered look so far. He told me that the Jehovah Witnesses seem to come every day and leave material and every day he throws it away. And I didn’t see anything from other sources either. Too bad!

We’re having awesome weather, hope same is with you. Was going to take Pudge for a walk but he has a limp for some reason – so we didn’t go. Doesn’t seem major – went to vet yesterday so is okay health wise.

  3. Patricia,

The music game is wonderful, I just found it on your site. Did not see it before. Thank you.

    1. Yes, the music game. Because it was Christmas images I think I didn’t have the link up. Now am I going to create one using Ordinary Time Christian images so went ahead and put it up, hoping it will push me to get that done! 🙂

  4. I love the video I just noticed it. Awesome it is just the greatest you spoke very well in describing your site. I pray you can keep it this way. It is so wonderful not to have to see intrusive ads etc. Just a joyful clean fun site for all. Lord please help Patricia so she can afford to keep this site going free of ads help her find ways to keep the cost low amen. Glad you are working at Laundromat it will be good seems easy enough to just open and close place. I like that you keep joy in Jesus title for all endeavors. Since you bring joy to all who come upon your site the title fits. Good luck with this. Kathy OFS Siochan Agus Maitheas

    1. Thanks Kathy. Yes, I am trying to make it a fun site – that continues to be free and open to all. At this point of course I couldn’t advertise if I wanted to – as my traffic is low. But maybe that is the way God wants it to be. I don’t think God is as much into the numbers game as I fall into sometimes!

I think working at the Laundromat will be fun. I have a friend who is worried about the closing up part at night. So will be keeping that in mind – to see how safe it is.

    3. Hi Kathy, Hmmm. I have heard of Patsy Clairmont. Right now – I don’t think I can afford coaching – but might check her out anyway. Who knows? Thanks for the information.

  6. Great news. A Laundromat is a great way to meet people. It sounds like things are really coming together for you. Are you still working at the Church?

    1. That is so true. A laundromat is a great way to meet people. Course I won’t be there during the day when most of the folks come – but still . . .

I am still working at the Church – which is why this job is so perfect. It allows me to keep working there and still have another part time job. I love working at the Church.
