Enthusiasm

I have a book by Norman Vincent Peale that I take out and read periodically. It is called, Enthusiasm Makes the Difference.

For me enthusiasm needs nurturing to keep it burning. And while I do agree a definite plan carrying one\’s idea into action is necessary I find I need to work at keeping enthusiasm high by praying, reading, listening to positive audios and watching videos.

All three of those things are really a substitute for talking things over with God and friends. We are meant to relate with others – companionship, friendship, love are all parts of the gift of being alive.

Hopefully those things are in the afterlife as well. I could not imagine heaven whatever that may look like being of any worth if it is not filled with people.

ENTHUSIASM
Can be aroused
by two things:
FIRST
an idea which takes
the imagination by storm;
SECOND
a definite, intelligible plan
for carrying that idea
into action.

Adventure Words

Finally made some headway with redesigning the website for the puzzle books. This is strictly a wholesale site for bulk sales of the puzzle books. I am sure there are lots of things to do to make it better but at least the basic is done.

My hope is to start visiting some stores and places in the local area to see if they will like to carry the puzzle books. Never know unless I try!

  1. Made a light box for photographing books and things.
  2. Grateful for having a sister who is a CPA and helping me with my taxes!
  3. Starting to do 30 minutes on the Nordic Tracker. So far only two days (and not even in a row) but progress.
