Don\’t wait

Well I have to say this quote fits me perfectly as waiting is my least favorite thing to do. I was going to say even with prayer – but actually it\’s ESPECIALLY with prayer. I mean if I pray shouldn\’t God just get on things immediately, like yesterday? And of course this is coming from someone who spent 28 years in a monastery and should know better . . . but I\’m such a slow learner.

My latest thing is praying Mother Teresa\’s Emergency Novena which is basically just praying the Memorare nine times in petition and once in thanksgiving . Truthfully I don\’t know if I actually believe it – because – it does seem a bit like magical thinking or believing and silly me I get frustrated when I don\’t get an immediate answer . . . a sort of do this and God will do this kind of thing – but on the other hand . . . It does give me hope, and HOPE is the best thing to have in any situation.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

The above is a version that seems to be popular though the version below (slightly longer) is the one I have been praying.

The hunt for a great Ramen Noodle Salad

Yesterday I tried a recipe for Ramen Noodle salad but it\’s not the delicious recipe I had once at a Church dinner. Very sad. I don\’t remember what was so yummy about that recipe but I sure would love to find something that is as super delicious.

Does anyone have a favorite salad made with Ramen noodles that they love? Would like to try some different ones.

And the book goes on . . .

I have been adding stories online of the 101 books I have done in the past. So far I have nine stories each from the Rosary, Prayer, and Reconciliation books. A few more to go and hopefully I will get another set up today.

Bit by bit I am also creating a Pinterest pin for each story and posting one of those most days. Just something I am trying to do to get the word out about them and hopefully in time generate some interest for this new book I am working on.
