“Once you replace negative thoughts
with positive ones,
you’ll start having positive results.”
Recognizing Negative Thoughts
Negative thoughts start taking over when I start second guessing myself. Doubting earlier decisions and letting weeds of regret take root and start sending up shoots. Once I realize what is going on it’s time to go on the offensive!
Replacing with Positive
It surprised me to realize that staying positive takes action work. That it’s not just a state of mind one has or hasn’t. It’s a result of reading positive stories, quotes, and even taking an inspirational video break.
This is probably where formalized prayer helps. It takes time, puts one in an environment open to miracles and God intervention possibilities.
Exercise is also good if one combines it with positive mental as well.
This street talking is for Me!
I’m not preaching to you. I’m preaching to me. Because when I started this post I was feeling drained, negative and discouraged. But surprisingly just writing about being positive has helped.
Also sorry I didn’t get a post sent out yesterday. I was working hard on other things and then when it was time for dinner I just decided, “Oh well . . .”
Today’s Three Sunshine (Gratitude) Moments:
1. The possibility of taking a nap whenever I want. How nice is that? Yes, I am thinking about it.
2. Nice sandwich for lunch.
3. Reading a book on Happiness. 53 Ways to Increase Your Happiness available for $1.99 for now. So far it seems a good book.
