Well good news on the home baking front. I\’m going to get a new stove to replace the one that doesn\’t know when to quit. I don\’t think it will be a brand new one and that doesn\’t bother me. I just need one that maintains the proper temperature and I\’m happy as can be. My landlord is going to look for one this weekend and bring it on Monday or so.

All our snow has melted away and I can\’t say that I am a bit sad. Nope, not even if we don\’t have a white Christmas. It\’s nice to get in the car and know when you come to a stop sign and put on your break that you are actually going to stop.

Tomorrow it\’s all about dogs. I\’m going with my sister early in the morning to Corvallis to do a few things AND most of all go to the doggy park. Her dog Oscar is part terrier and part fox. Well, maybe not really part fox but he sort of looks like one a bit.  He loves to run and run and run. The dog part is his favorite activity of the week. I will be taking Pudge and as he is getting better he can go in and play a bit as well. He tends to be more nervous around the dogs and barks and starts fights and in other ways be a \”bad dog\” so we don\’t always stay long. Then I will go out to the country and spend some time with my other favorite dog, Addie the Airedale.

  1. Lovely puzzle. Happy to hear you will have a new oven soon. Will be very nice to have, even if not brand new, still nice to have an oven that works. I chuckled over Pudge being a bad dog and starting fights, too funny. Sounds like a wonderful day with your sister and a fun day and then going to see a pet friend later in the day. Enjoy your day.

      Well I didn’t end up going to the park with Pudge. When we got there in the morning it was too early and no other dogs had shown up. So since play with pals was the whole reason for going we went on to do some shopping and them my sister took her dog to the park later – but I went to my dog sitting job.

      It was a fun day though! So enjoying the snow being gone and the roads dry and safe to drive on.

      Yes – the stove episode is turning out exactly like yours. I will let you know what happens as to whether it is used or not. I don’t really mind either way as the used ones sometimes are better than new ones (that are affordable) if well kept up. Anyway will see.

      Nice to hear from you. I love cats too. Well not all the time – you know like when you are trying to read a book and a certain cat thinks you shouldn’t be reading a book but paying attention to cat. We mostly end up compromising because Cat is not a quitter.

      Glad you like doing the puzzles! I am improving on them too – especially the memory ones. I was a perfect dunce when starting.
