This evening I went to see the Christmas Program at Oakville Church. It was so much fun! I wish you could have been there. The play was very different – with a modern twist and members of all ages participating to make it truly spectacular. Afterwards there were yummy things to eat and fellowship. I went with my friend Edith from the Villas and we both now feel properly into the Spirit of Christmas!

My new Sunday Worship starts with going to Mass on Saturday evenings with my sister and then to Oakville service on Sunday Mornings. I feel like a get a double portion of God\’s blessings. This week I got a triple blessing because of the Christmas program. I had never been to a Church Christmas program before and this was very special.

Well, old Pudge is sitting behind me crunching on a bone. Crunch, crunch, crunch. Almost makes my teeth hurt to hear him gnawing away but he\’s a happy puppy!

  1. Christmas shows are always fun. Our church puts on a Christmas pagent with the kids on Christmas eve doing the nativity story. And a musical performance for everyone. I will miss them as I am away for Xmas but happy to see family it has been 3yrs or so. Enjoy your day. Kathy OFS. Siochan Agus Maitheas

  2. Christmas shows and Living Nativities are so special and so nice. I went to a beautiful Living Nativity on Saturday night, with 2 of my grand kids, almost brought tears to my eyes, was the nicest I have been to. Going to another Christmas show/Living Nativity on Friday, you get to talk to a Roman soldier, a coin maker, cobbler, baker, etc, Mary and Joseph and see baby Jesus.

      1. I will check and let you know Patricia, I will look them up and see what I can find. Looking forward to Friday’s, should really be nice.
