Working on being more grateful
I think for me these 21 days of \”being grateful\” are the structure I need to stay on track. If I just told myself, \”Okay, I need to be more grateful,\” I don\’t think I would have stayed with it very long. And it helps that I have these posts to write as it another little discipline to focus on gratitude.
And really, it\’s not \”work\” to be more grateful but for me it does take some reminding of during the day.
I definitely feel a sense of losing some of the anxiety and frustration I was feeling with myself over lots of things, especially dealing with figuring out a home business I could be successful at. And I am not at all discounting the fact that I think Saints Peter and Paul are helping quite a bit.
The more beauty I see
Fall is an easy time to see beautiful colors in every direction. The last few days have been unusually sunny and dry (this is normally the start of our wet season) and though it has been colder than usual the crisp air, deep blue sky and everywhere a colorful kaleidoscope of autumn is almost breathtaking.
