Lovely Moments

It seems so easy to capture photo moments these days with the new digital phones. I have gazillions of photos and now and then I take a zip trip down memory lane to scan them but for the most part they just take up room.

I am now downloading several years of such images from my laptop to my new computer. Sort of silly as I probably won\’t use them again but I\’m doing it anyway. I like to hold onto stuff.

I think about the immensity of the Universe and the immensity of every person that has ever lived each having a full spectrum of life moments that belong to them. And take all these moments and know that God can and does hold all that in his hand.

I do not know how to fathom eternity but just that one thought is enough to dazzle my mind into complete amazement. And this is just one little planet in the midst of a gazillion planets and stars that each has it\’s own history and place in time.

Enjoy What We Have

Today is the end of the 21 Days of Gratitude that I started about 24 days ago (at least one break as I dealt with getting a new computer). Now I am trying to decide whether to take a breather for a bit or come up with a new topic to work on.

I need to work as much as possible on developing my \”Pinterest for Catholics,\” website and business so that I will be ready to take on a client or two. So it makes sense to take a break but on the other hand this site is something I want to continue with as well . . . so I will think about it the rest of the day and decide then.

Next 16 days

Made the decision! For the next 16 days, from November 15 to November 30th I am going to use \”Catholic Quotes\” as my blog topics. Then I will switch to the Advent Season until Christmas. Will see how that goes. 🙂

Scripture quote for the day

God created everything and he created it good.
1 Timothy 4:4-5

Please add \”your\” three gratitude moments in the comments. It\’s a great way to pick up your day and it\’s fun for the rest of us to read!

  1. 21 Days of Gratitude completed. Yay, I stayed with it, Good for me!
  2. Book, Educated is getting to the point where I can\’t put it down. BUT it is hard to imagine the life she had growing up and how hard that must of been to overcome.
  3. Just washed my hair in the kitchen sink and dried it with a hair blower in bathroom. A little thing but now my head feels nice and clean and light. That\’s my connection with a small but lovely moment.

    A beautiful day
Started Christmas shopping today, little by little it will get done.

  3. Thank you for the “Gratitude” quotes and thoughts each day. It is something I really look forward toward–and am so happy you decided to continue with various themes. It is now, more than ever, that I really need good thoughts to carry me through the day. Thank you for that decision. Since the death of Keith, the days are very difficult. I need all the uplifting help I can get!
    In deed appreciation, Patty.
