“Train yourself never to put off the word or action for the expression of gratitude”

Train Yourself

I guess it\’s never too late to sit yourself down, have a talk and figure out a new way or ways to do something. Adjust. Make changes. Adapt.

For now I am going to put doing Anthology books on hold. The simple reason is I don\’t have the push to get the stories – I don\’t have the connections to ask for them – and I don\’t have a number of other things to make it happen. Perhaps in a year or two I will be at the place but it doesn\’t seem to be a green light for now.

Maybe and not sure if this is a cop out but I don\’t know that I want to work that hard at it! Hell-o? Are we getting old or what?

But I am in training to push in a new direction. Oh my God did I say that again?

Well, I am continuing to pray to Peter and Paul for direction and you know sometimes when you pray a little focused like that you get guidance to do something different. There are all sorts of ways to get knocked off of one\’s horse and realize that, \”Whoops! Maybe this isn\’t what I should be doing.\”

In my case I decided I am going to get back into the field of Catholic Evangelization. It is not going to be big, or earth shaking. Just a little mud puddle of effort that will hopefully help a few.

Pinterest for Catholics

That headline sounds super weird I know. But when I started a Catholic e-Card site I am sure that sounded a bit weird as well. Now a days I don\’t know that e-Cards are that popular but Pinterest is becoming one of the biggest and fastest ways for people to find things.

And so why not find a little \”life lifting Catholic\” thought as well.

And I am making it my \”home business\” as well. My hope is that I can help another Catholic organization or two to establish a firmer Catholic presence on Pinterest. Anyway it\’s all in the beginning stages and will see how and even if it develops.

Scripture quote for the day

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”
Thessalonians 5:16-18

Please add \”your\” three gratitude moments in the comments. It\’s a great way to pick up your day and it\’s fun for the rest of us to read!

  1. Cold, blowing winds. Glad to be warm inside.
  2. Working on new website
  3. Grateful for a lovely home with a wonderful husband.

  1. Grateful for:1) Sunshine today.
    2) The beauty of the 3 inches of snow we got overnight (even though it’s too early for snow!).
    3) The delicious smoked pork chip I just ate

    1. Gosh June. Three inches of snow already! That, I hope is not going to be a recipe for a long and hard winter. It is cold here but thankfully no snow. 🙂
I don’t think I have ever had a smoked pork chip but sounds delicious!
