God Finds Us

Okay God, if you are looking for me, I\’m here in my office pretending to work . . .

Hmm, it rather looks like I\’m posting just once a month here. Better not make any promises that is going to change . . .

A special thanks to Maria who sent me a note yesterday wondering if I had stopped to rest awhile – which of course is as good an explanation as any. In truth I have been working on my business site – except not today. Today I am doing anything but work. A total, \”Oh hum, I just don\’t feel like it and waiting for the mood to strike to make me want to work . . . which of course it doesn\’t . . . \” I\’ve really got the procrastination bug bad.

And speaking of bugs, is anyone getting as paranoid about the Corona Virus as me? I swear every time I sneeze or have a bit of allergy acting up from all the trees in bloom I start going into super, hypochondriac overdrive. Something I do extremely well.

I wish I had something encouraging or exciting to tell you but life is just going pleasantly along with no big mountains climbed or valleys traversed. Day after nice ordinary day and it\’s all rather nice. I hope it continues. I definitely am getting older. Not wiser but older.

These are blooming in our back yard. Does anyone know what they are?

Hope you are having a wonderful, joy-filled, God blessed day.

Please add \”your\” three gratitude moments in the comments. It\’s a great way to pick up your day and it\’s fun for the rest of us to read!

  1. Spring is springing everywhere!
  2. Taxes sent off to my CPA. I have a private CPA which is my sister. A very, very nice thing to have.
  3. Pudge went to the vet a few days ago and he is now on a daily dose of ibuprofen for awhile for some pain issues (possibly related to age). It seems to be helping him a lot. He also got his spring haircut which makes both of us happy. He was a very woolly, miniature mammoth for a while.

  1. Glad you posted. Miss hearing from you. Yes, coronavirus is on my mind. My granddaughters University has gone to tele-education, SS well as my other girls in HS. It is scary and we need to pray for a vaccine .

    1. Thanks Joan, yes it is scary times. Just talked to one of my brothers and he is not worried but I think we should be some – helps to take measures appropriately. Definitely praying for a vaccine is not wasted effort!

  2. So happy that you dropped a line. You are missed. With the death of my very best friend quite recently, life gets very lonely, so glad to see a familiar email periodically. Just wanted you to know that your entries in your Blog are VERY MUCH appreciated.
Sending prayers and kind thoughts your way,
    LaVern

    1. Hi LaVern – so glad to know the notes are “very much” appreciated. Thinking I will try to get back on board – helps me to to stay connected with you as well. And in these pandemic times – staying a bit more virtual is not a bad idea.

Sorry to hear you lost your best friend recently. That is hard – Ioss is such a big thing – no matter how we try to deal with it, it just hurts. And is sad.
Thanks too for your prayers and kind thoughts – those are very much appreciated! 🙂 I send the same to you.

  3. Hi,
Good to hear from you. Happy to hear all is going well. I love the flowers in your garden, lovely.
So much going on with the coronavirus, a bit scary.
Many blessings to you Pat. So good to hear from you. Thank you for posting.
    Cathy

    1. Hi Cathy. I posted the picture of the flower (the second one) in a Nextdoor thread to see if anyone knows what it is. I think it might be a natural plant – but sure is beautiful.

Always good to hear from you. Keep well! 🙂

  4. Good to hear from you Pat. Happy to know all is well with you and yours. I have missed you and your posts. Count me in with being paranoid about the Corona Virus . Thanks to Maria from me as well for initiating this recent post. Sending good health and prayers to all
