Easter Glory

I hope everyone has a beautiful Easter Sunday even if it is celebrated at home.

All is quiet at our house – we are staying home except for biweekly grocery shopping (with masks) and a few other outings for necessities. Still taking our daily walks but of course not getting too close to anyone along the way.

If anyone needs a home mask let me know and I will make one for you. So far I have made about twelve for family members. My sewing is not great but they work!

Please add \”your\” three gratitude moments in the comments. It\’s a great way to pick up your day and it\’s fun for the rest of us to read!

  1. Beautiful Spring Day
  2. Quiet day
  3. Enjoying the present moment

  1. I love reading your shared thoughts. I am hoping that you will go back to sending daily or, at least, more frequent ones during this time of isolation. God sends many blessings and “happy” thoughts through you.

  2. So good to hear from you. Happy Easter to you and Jon. Quiet on our end also. I find a car ride is helpful for me when I start to get cabin fever. A drive around the neighborhood perks me up.
Zoom is helpful also, we continue to have tap class weekly via Zoom and also weekly meditation class with Zoom. I FaceTime with the kids and grandkids.
Many blessings to you , miss your posts.

    1. Hi Cathy – Love the ways you are continuing with tap and meditation! That is awesome. I found a meditation site yesterday and I started using one of the meditations and is really nice. I will share the link on the next post – but this is it for now. https://mrsmindfulness.com/the-four-keys-to-overcoming-negative-thinkingfor-good/

I had Googled “overcoming negative thinking about business,” and this one was the best. I signed up for the newsletter – so will see how it goes.
      Happy Easter!

    1. Hi Sandy – Happy Easter to you – and I hope things are going well for you in Idaho. 🙂 Been following all the things you are doing and I see you are keeping busy.

Think I will go back to the more daily – I was thinking it was taking so much time away from my business – but it was taking more time away from being uplifted and connecting with friends which is more important.

      Everyone stay Healthy and Safe!

      1. I do so hope you will go back to much more frequent posting, and if daily, GREAT! When you live alone, and having few friends left because of already being in the upper 80’s, seeing a post on this site when coming on the computers, means a great deal.
So glad the two of you are staying in for the most part, and keeping yourselves safe and healthy. Wish I could still take those walks around the neighborhood! But happy that you can still enjoy them.
May I ask a small prayer from you, Patty. These past five months have been so difficult since Keith’s death. I am so lonely, and MISS him so.
        Your Blog Friend, LaVern

  3. Happy Easter to you and John. During this time I find that I miss my church community at daily mass and Sunday’s. However, I have spent more time reflecting on the daily readings . Of course my home has been been so clean. I do miss your daily thoughts but I do understand the need to work on your business.
    God Bless
