Of course there are always exceptions

I like this quote and I think it has a lot of merit but immediately after selecting it for today\’s quote I thought of some animals like alligators, crocodiles and many birds that don\’t seem to have changed over centuries of time and are doing quite well.

Which goes to show . . . that almost all quotes as wonderful and inspirational as they may be always have a flip side.

But, hey, if one is going to be that nit picky then nothing will be said, ever. I remember Lucy in a Charlie Brown cartoon saying something similar to that.

My biggest struggle of the day (I hope) is figuring out a new and improved way to keep Big dog and Little dog from eating Buddy\’s food. Just when I think I have the perfect setup they bust through.

Please add \”your\” three gratitude moments in the comments. It\’s a great way to pick up your day and it\’s fun for the rest of us to read!

  1. Sunshine and beautiful blue sky. Fall is nice that way.
  2. Just happy to be.
  3. Glad book seems to be progressing.

  1. LOL, for some reason dogs love all food that is not theirs. Well they love theirs also but really love the food of others. Henry loved all food 🙂 He was such a sweet boy, we miss him so much, will be 3 months this week he passed away.
So glad all is coming together with writing your book.
We are downsizing, you do not realize how much you have collected over 35 years in one house. Amazing ! We are staying where we are but just getting ready when we do move in 8 to 15 years.
    Grateful for
    Fall
    Ice Tea
    Hot Tea

  2. We need to keep the dog’s food upstairs & the cat’s food in the basement. We have a labradoodle that is afraid of stairs, so we are lucky in that regard. Our old cat sometimes would try a bite of the dog’s dry food, however!
