A second helping of hope, please
And maybe thirds would be nice as well.
I was doing pretty good most of the day and then the plug slipped out of the basin of life and all my hope went down the drain. Crazy.
Such a daily push to stay hope filled. Guess it’s like eating. One meal is never enough to get me through the day and I guess I can’t rely on little bits of faith talk and prayer to last the whole day either.
And then of course there is confidence. That only seems to be doled out in daily doses as well.
What I really need is a good Padre Pio book or something. Those were my “pick me up” standbys. I am rereading a favorite of mine, Prison to Praise – so that should help.
What are some of your favorite, “pick you up” books?
Book Countdown . . . 2 – 20 – 2020!
238 days to go
Please add “your” three gratitude moments in the comments. It’s a great way to pick up your day and it’s fun for the rest of us to read!
- Day trip to Oregon coast on Saturday. Looking forward to that.
- Working on blog for Adventure Words. Slow but doing it.
- Pudge had a hurt paw but is better today. So guess there won’t be a vet trip on that score. Thank goodness.
