Flip Flopping again

I had some grand thoughts of doing a weekly that would make up for the small daily by being a bit bigger and nicer. But then that bigger and better involved more work. Of course. And since the idea for only doing a weekly was to have more time to work on other things . . . I decided that instead I would go back to doing the regular simple way but find a way to do that more quickly.

So I figured out if I did all the image quotes on Sunday for the whole week it would not take much time to add a few daily thoughts. So that is this week\’s strategy. One by the way I attempted before but didn\’t keep up but I\’m all for trying again. Second time\’s a charm?

My Big Bold Plan

I\’m not sure if it\’s a miracle or just a blessing but I received the opportunity to take a 30 Day course on \”How to Get 100 Podcast Interviews in Record Time\” with Kathleen Gage. It\’s a rather expensive course but a friend gave me the chance to take it so I jumped on board.

And the reason I want to do this is because I came up with a publication date for my book, \”If I\’m Not Me, Who Will Be.\”

This means with a date solidly fixed that I need to make sure I have all other things in place for the book to be a success.

The most important piece to have in place for a book to be successful is that I have a solid book author platform.

What is a Writer/Author Platform?

\”Platform, simply put, is your visibility as an author.\”
Courtney Carpenter of Writer\’s Digest

Currently I have a very, small, small visibility. Maybe with luck I could sell 15 books. So this is something that is going to take some work.

But Get Ready for . . . 2 – 20 – 2020!

February 20, 2020 is the fun date I came up with for the publication date of my book. Starting today that gives me 277 days to work with an editor, have it laid out, printed, build the platform and have it ready for sale.

Right now the book is with my editor for a quick read and evaluation with some thoughts on how to proceed.

The cover is done so that is a big step forward.

can ever achieve greatly.\”

    1. Hi LaVern, Truthfully it doesn’t feel right to me when I don’t do it. 🙂 I think doing the images ahead of time will make it easier. And when it’s easier it’s more fun. I’m always into how to make things more fun. 🙂
