One Day Missing?

So I have no idea where the blog post I did for today skipped off to. I know I did it. I know I hit publish and yet it is gone. Oh well . . .

Spent most of the day at the VA hospital with Jon as he was there for some wellness check-ups. While I had all that time in the waiting room I managed to read some, think some and actually feel encouraged about how to proceed with book and life in general.

Amazing how God helps us in surprising ways. What I mostly read was an old Dale Carnegie book, \”The Quick and Easy Way to Effective Speaking.\” I had never read this one before and it is has helped me to get clear on how to move forward with interviews and book.

Dale Carnegie

The Quick and Easy Way to Effective Speaking by Dale Carnegie.

That is the title of the book, and it\’s supposedly by Dale Carnegie who the cover proclaims is the author . . . but really it was compiled and edited by his wife Dorothy after his death.

And it is really good. She did a great job. I checked out this book from the library but going to try and find a cheap, used book somewhere because I want to highlight thoughts and write notes in the margins.

One Response

  1. 1. Grateful for the warmer temperatures (I am not much of a cold weather gal).
    2. Thankful that I am getting used to the new computer, programs, and operating systems. Been a long time since I had an upgrade!
    3. Rejoicing in my new office space — it is wonderful to have everything in one place in a room where I can close the door!!
