Rekindled fires

I love this quote. It is so true. As much as I try to stay positive it is such an uphill battle sometimes. And people – face to face or heart to heart are so much more effective than just reading a positive book or watching a video. Those help and I use them a lot. But actual personal affirming responses are the best.

And of course today we can do that virtually with internet and phones. And those are super. Love em.

Still at the same time – there is something about having family or friends for a shared meal and doing something together that is even more rekindling. Don\’t you think?

At any rate my sister and brother-in-law are driving over from Seattle tonight and I am so excited to see them I can\’t stop cleaning! And that is not my favorite thing to do.

  2. Cleaning house – the places that don\’t get done unless company comes! You know you keep putting it off and then you have to do it and you feel so good about getting it done. Finally.
  3. Nice morning walk. Saw 5 cats! Definitely better cat weather here.
