The challenge to asking, “Why Not?” is that it requires pushing boundaries that my comfortable little self would rather keep in the dream world and not the “Let’s do it!” world.
Actually, I hardly ever have a problem with dreaming. I am such a creative, impulsive person that I don’t even have a problem with, “Let’s do it!
But I do have a problem with . . . let’s finish it!
Let’s keep with it day after day until it’s completed . . .
That is just so boring.
Yesterday I watched a video by Seth Godin, on Quieting the Lizard Brain. The nutshell version is that it is Super Easy to come up with amazing, brilliant ideas . . . but bringing those ideas into reality requires planning, focus and implementation.
And staying with the Brilliant Idea until it is finished . . . is not easily done.
Hmmm. Okay. Seth has never met me so I’m not going to take this personal.

Please add your three gratitude moments in the comments. It’s a great way to pick up your day and it’s fun for the rest of us to read!
- Working on podcast research an hour a day. So far staying with it.
- Hearing that the BIG earthquake may be a bit closer to reality as we continue to have small, quakes in our area. But not panicking. Yet.
- Really, really wanting to bake cookies . . . but holding off so far.
