Sunshine Thoughts

Gratitude puts one in the moment. So easy for me to slip into – “when this happens” or “I get this” or some other moment based on future imaginings. And those thoughts take away the present enjoyment. The life is good right this moment.

I caught myself looking at this picture and thinking, Oh wow, wish I was at the ocean!” but really I can enjoy this picture right here in my little office and that is fine too.

Today’s Three Sunshine (Gratitude) Moments:
1. Made another batch of cookies! Cinnamon again. Still have to bake them and probably get the house warm but . . . sometimes just have to do things. I have promised myself to start eating better starting September but I have three days till then!
2. Quiet day. Staying home, just working on everyday things and puzzle book.
3. And besides reading the “The Outpost” again I am reading another murder mystery – books, books, books. I love books.
